Job Title: Home Insurance Team Manager
Reporting To: Directors
Location: Vita, The Maltings, East Tyndall Street, Cardiff, CF24 5EA (hybrid working considered after Probation)
Hours: Full\-Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends), 9am – 6pm (1 hour for lunch)

This includes arranging Buildings and Contents Insurance for residential homeowners and Landlord Insurance for rental properties, with optional extras such as accidental damage, legal expenses, home emergency and rent guarantee cover where appropriate.
Mortgage firms, building societies and other key financial intermediaries refer their clients to Vita to ensure they receive expert, consistent and professional advice.

Core Duties of the Home Insurance Team Manager:
Team Leadership \& Development:
- Lead a team of Home Insurance Advisers, establishing objectives and performance standards for the team and for individuals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, support, and training to help Advisers improve their skills and reach their sales targets.
- Build trust through transparency, integrity and reliability in leadership decisions and actions.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase conversions, case values and sales and achieve Vita’s revenue targets.
- Evaluate performance and offer feedback on individual and team performance against KPIs, implementing improvement strategies where necessary.
- Collaborate with senior management around team objectives to ensure alignment with Vita’s broader organisational goals.
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional service by actively listening to customers’ needs and providing tailored advice on home and landlord insurance products.
- Handle escalated client queries or concerns professionally, confidently and efficiently to ensure a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Anticipate potential issues and address them promptly, turning challenges into opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and trust.
- Ensure that the team operates in full compliance with UK regulations and industry standards related to home insurance and associated products.
- Keep up to date with changes in the insurance market and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Create well\-structured reports for senior management providing insights into team performance, sales figures, and potential areas for improvement.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and actionable insights that inform decision\-making, support continuous improvement and enhance conversion rates.
- Work closely with the internal Administration and Customer Care teams, as well as external insurance providers and Referral Partners, to create a seamless journey for customers and drive referral growth.
- Foster strong relationships and open communication with other departments to facilitate collaboration on projects, share knowledge, and align goals for overall improved effectiveness.

Pay and Benefits
- £32,500\-£38,220 basic salary per annum \+ bonus.
