MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) is the UK’s national quality mark for small\-scale renewable technology, such as solar panels and heat pumps. Main role and responsibilities:

Installer Calls \& Communication 

  • Contact installers to book and carry out onboarding calls

  • Act as a point of contact for installers via phone and email

  • Provide clear, simple explanations of the onboarding process and requirements

  • Follow up with installers to keep applications moving

  • Raise any missing, incomplete or incorrect information with Certification Bodies (CBs) and installers as required
Scheduling \& Coordination
  • Arrange calls at suitable times and manage bookings

  • Keep installers informed of next steps and any actions required

  • Support the team in managing a high volume of onboarding activity efficiently
Record Keeping \& CRM Administration
  • Create and maintain accurate application records within the CRM system

  • Accurately record call outcomes, updates and onboarding progress in internal systems

  • Ensure records are clear, accurate and up to date at all times

  • Work quickly and accurately whilst managing a busy workload

  • Identify and escalate any data discrepancies or missing information
Team Working \& General Support
  • Work closely with the wider team to support the onboarding process

  • Share any common questions or issues raised by installers

  • Provide support with other general administrative tasks as required

  • Be flexible to support operational requirements between the hours of 8am and 6pm
Key Skills \& Experience
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone

  • Confident making outbound calls

  • Able to explain information clearly and simply

  • Organised and able to manage bookings and follow ups

  • Comfortable using systems to record information

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to work at pace whilst maintaining a high standard of quality

  • Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an advantage, although full training can be provided
What Success Looks Like
  • Calls are booked and completed efficiently

  • Installers understand the process and what is expected of them

  • Applications progress smoothly with minimal delays

  • Application records are accurate and kept up to date

  • Missing or incorrect information is identified and addressed promptly

Contract Term: 12\-month fixed term contract
