We're looking for an Installation Mechanical Engineer who will support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial effluent and wastewater treatment equipment across customer sites throughout the UK.
Role Responsibilities:* Install, assemble and commission industrial wastewater and effluent treatment equipment, including DAF units, disc filters, pumps, valves, mixers and pipework systems.
- Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, levelling and positioning of process equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys, equipment inspections, testing and troubleshooting activities to ensure successful project delivery and commissioning.
- Liaise with project managers, electrical engineers, subcontractors and clients to coordinate installation projects safely and efficiently.
- Complete installation documentation, commissioning records, risk assessments and maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Proven experience installing mechanical process equipment within industrial effluent treatment, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or similar process industries.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P\&IDs and technical documentation, with strong mechanical fitting and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, permit\-to\-work systems and risk assessment procedures.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the UK.
