Installation & Commissioning Technician
ProSys Containment \& Sampling Technology specializes in the design and manufacture of sampling and containment equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Our products include both standard and custom\-engineered containment solutions supplied to leading pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and hands\-on Installation \& Commissioning Technicians to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from machine assembly through testing, customer acceptance, site installation, and final commissioning. The successful candidate will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical and Automation teams to deliver high\-quality equipment to customers around the world.

Job Type: In person, with international travel as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble and build custom pharmaceutical equipment and containment systems.
- Support machine testing activities and carry out troubleshooting as required.
- Participate in Pre\-FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) activities to ensure machines are ready for customer review.
- Work alongside customers and project teams during FATs.
- Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical, pneumatic and electrical issues.
- Dismantle, label and prepare equipment for shipment following FAT approval.
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installation and reassembly.
- Support start\-up and commissioning activities alongside automation and engineering teams.
- Assist with machine validation and customer handover.
- Interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings and 3D models.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping at all times.
- Trade qualification, technical qualification, or relevant experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, manufacturing, automation, or machine building.
- Experience assembling machinery, equipment or bespoke engineered products.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong practical skills and experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to identify components, follow wiring layouts, and assist with electrical troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional attitude when interacting with customers on\-site.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally for installation and commissioning activities.
- Full driving licence desirable.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, automation, or special\-purpose machinery industries would be an advantage.
