Inpatient Unit Coordinator

Severn Hospice is a special place to work, and we are looking for a committed, compassionate and experienced administrator to join our in\-patient team.

Working alongside our clinicians you will help ensure that the ward runs smoothly and provide comprehensive administration and clerical support.

Caring is at the heart of what we do and as an approachable and empathetic individual you will play a crucial role in providing patients and their loved ones with the best possible experience from the moment they arrive. Often the first point of contact you will use your great interpersonal skills and intuition to offer a warm and reassuring welcome to patients and visitors to the ward.

Being well organised and a natural communicator you will work with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient service and seamless cover.

You will also have strong word processing, database administration skills and ideally have a healthcare background.

This role is 15 hours per week, worked at our Telford site. Candidates must be flexible, as there may be occasions where cover is required across both sites.
