Information Assistant (Best Start in Life)

Are you a creative digital communicator with strong organisational and data management skills? Do you want to use your talents to make a real difference for children, young people and families across Nottinghamshire?

We're looking for an enthusiastic Families Information Service Information Assistant to join our Early Help and Family Hubs team, helping to promote Nottinghamshire's Best Start in Life offer and encourage school readiness, through engaging digital content, targeted campaigns and accessible online information.

You'll play a key role in helping families and professionals connect with trusted information and support by:

• Creating engaging content for websites, social media and newsletters.


• Developing and delivering digital campaigns, including our school readiness communications programme.


• Supporting and maintaining Your Notts Directory, the online community directory at the heart of our Virtual Family Hub.


• Co\-producing content with families, young people and professionals.


• Developing digital resources and toolkits for families and practitioners.


• Promoting services at events across Nottinghamshire.


• Ensuring content is accessible, inclusive and user\-focused.

• Has experience in digital marketing, content creation and social media management.


• Is confident using digital platforms, databases, content management systems and creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Clipchamp and website accessibility tools.


• Is organised, creative and has excellent attention to detail.


• Enjoys working collaboratively with a wide range of partners and communities.


• Is passionate about helping families find the information and support they need.


• Experience in children's services, education, or the voluntary and community sector is desirable.
