Inclusion Teaching Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support children with diverse learning needs within our educational setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, specialising in inclusive education to foster a supportive and engaging environment for all students. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities, including those with autism and other special educational needs. Duties
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational activities that meet individual student needs
- Support children with autism, disabilities, or behavioural challenges to ensure they can participate fully in lessons
- Provide one\-on\-one or small group support to children requiring additional assistance, including toddlers and early learners
- Implement specialised strategies to promote communication skills and social development among pupils
- Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment by encouraging participation and fostering confidence
- Support behavioural management strategies under the guidance of teaching staff
- Assist with organising learning materials and resources suitable for children with diverse abilities
- Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and engagement levels to inform future planning
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable
- Experience in teaching or supporting children within an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and inclusive teaching methodologies is advantageous
- Familiarity with toddler care and early childhood development will be considered a plus
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with children, colleagues, and parents
- A compassionate approach combined with patience, adaptability, and organisational skills are vital for success in this role
Pay: £98\.50\-£125\.00 per day
