We're looking for a driven, sharp\-minded Customer Service Specialist to join our growing Sea Freight Imports team in Rochester.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing ocean import shipments from start to finish—keeping everything running smoothly and on time.


• Acting as the main point of contact for your customers—building relationships and delivering proactive, top\-tier service.


• Coordinating with overseas offices and partners to keep supply chains moving efficiently.


• Keeping clients informed with clear, accurate updates and making sure online tracking is accurate.


• Handling documentation with precision and accuracy.


• Supporting your teammates and stepping up when needed.

• 2\+ years experience in sea freight import operations (FCL or LCL).


• Confident communicator—clear, friendly, and professional, whether it’s by phone or email.


• Proactive mindset—you see what needs doing and you go for it.


• A customer\-first attitude—you genuinely care about helping people.


• Commercially aware—you understand the bigger business picture.


• Team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

• Competitive salary £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
