Chinese Factory Sales Office in the Greater Manchester area seeking an experienced Merchandiser for a permanent part time position. Start date 1 September 2026\.

Leveraging years of supply chain experience, along with a deep understanding of product development, international trade, supply chain management, and the Chinese factory culture, our team's work tirelessly to deliver competitive and exclusive product ranges that meet our customers’ demands year on year.

We support big box retailers in achieving their commercial objectives efficiently, directly and competitively.

Our offices are based in Hollinwood Business Centre, Failsworth. (Junction 22 of the M60\.)

Your new role

You will be part of a small highly motivated team, working in a company that prioritizes employee satisfaction, workplace flexibility and believe strongly that whilst the work is serious there is always room for a little fun.

Joining the business as soon as possible, you will be working closely with the Buying Director handling multiple projects alongside our key suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities will include;

1\. *Critical path management*

2\. *Liaising with suppliers and customers*

3\. *Packaging and artwork processing*

4\. *Order Sheet and sales confirmation handling*

5\. *Managing product sign off process*

6\. *Shipment Docs handling*

7\. *Order book management*

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have at least 3 years experience as a merchandiser or similar role within an importer or retailer and used to working with excel spreadsheets and maintaining critical information databases. Excellent communication skills and number literacy are essential within this role, along with an eye for product!

Hours

23 hours per week. Ideally 9:30am\-3:30pm Monday\-Thursday and 9:30am–12:30pm on a Friday. Willing to discuss flexible working hours to suit the candidate.
