Import and Customs Supervisor - Freight Forwarding
Do you have solid Customs & import forwarding experience? Perhaps a team leader or a senior forwarder looking to move into a supervisory role?
This role will report to the Director, where you have full responsibility of the day-to-day running of the import Customs department ensuring compliance, whilst also getting involved in the freight forwarding side of the business.
The Role:
You will be responsible for supervising staff, dealing & resolving any issues, whilst ensuring great customer service is delivered at all times.
Your will be key in developing & mentoring staff and be the go-to person for most matters.
You'll also be hands on during busy periods, working with & mentoring your team, providing a great relaxed, yet professional working environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Previous supervisory / people management experience
- Customs procedures
- Good IT knowledge
Our client is a well-established freight forwarder with offices around the UK.
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary for the right candidate in the region of £40K + bonus, depending on experience. 25 days holiday & pension.
