Identity & Data Security Engineer
- About The Role
- We are recruiting for an Identity \& Data Security Engineer to join our Information Security Team.
In this role, you will:
+ Be the Council’s Subject Matter Expert and Lead for Microsoft Purview. Own the roadmap for the product and make recommendations on its future development and use.
+ Monitoring and reporting on data governance effectiveness, policy compliance, and data security health.
+ Supporting the organisational rollout of Purview features in structured phases and ensuring remediation of existing configurations.About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
+ Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview including classification, labelling, DLP, Insider Risk and governance policies
+ Excellent knowledge of Azure security concepts including role assignments, app registrations, managed identities, access governance, and authentication methods
+ Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
+ Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.Our Benefits
