Responsibilities

• Assist in the application of fluoride treatments and sealants as appropriate.


• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols.


• Support the use of medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.


• Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalised treatment plans based on patient needs.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a sterile environment at all times.

Requirements

• recognised qualification as a Dental Hygienist, registered with the appropriate regulatory body.


• Experience or familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.


• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures.


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and reassure patients effectively.


• Organised, detail\-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
