Field Service Technician – Hydrogen \& Industrial Equipment (Freelance)

Omnivia Tech is a French company operating in hydrogen technologies and energy systems under the Hydgenfuel brand.
We are seeking an independent field service technician based in Portugal to support installation, commissioning and maintenance assignments involving hydrogen systems, electrolysers and associated industrial equipment.
Scope of work
Depending on your expertise and the agreed assignment, responsibilities may include:
\- Supporting equipment installation and commissioning.
\- Inspecting and troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation or mechanical systems.
\- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance within your agreed scope.
\- Reading technical drawings and following manufacturer procedures.
\- Preparing site inspection reports and documenting technical issues.
\- Coordinating with equipment manufacturers and local project teams.
Relevant experience
We welcome practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
\- Electrical maintenance and industrial automation.
\- Instrumentation, sensors and control systems.
\- Mechanical installation, pumps, valves and process piping.
\- Field service for industrial gas, process or energy equipment.
Experience with hydrogen systems or electrolysers is an advantage. Professionals with relevant industrial experience are also encouraged to apply. Equipment\-specific training requirements will be discussed according to the assignment.
Requirements
\- Based in Portugal and available for on\-site assignments.
\- Able to work on an independent contractor basis and issue invoices.
\- Practical installation, maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
\- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and technical teams.
\- Willingness to follow manufacturer instructions and site safety procedures.

Working arrangements
Assignments are paid and agreed individually. Scope, location, schedule, fees and travel expenses will be confirmed before work begins.
