HVAC ENGINEER \- UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY WITHIN SWIMMING POOL SECTOR

Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 \- £45,000 (Dependent on experience)

Hours are typically 8am\- 4\.30pm Monday to Friday
No call out rota or weekend work (unless desired)

We are currently looking for an experienced heating \& refrigeration ventilation engineer to join a small team in Nottingham.
The job role is mainly specific to swimming pool ventilation and air handlings units.
Working primarily in the Midlands area with occasional travel further afield.

Our work ranges from call out works and remedial works for both commercial \& domestic customers (leisure centres to private pools).

Therefore this role, could be ideal for someone with a hands\-on background within the HVAC, electrical, and/or chiller background who is keen to learn within a growing industry.
You can enter a highly specialised and niche area of the HVAC industry without needing years of previous pool experience. You bring the core technical foundations, and we provide the specialist knowledge to help you develop into an expert in a niche, high\-value sector.

Duties for the HVAC Engineer will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration, dehumidification, AHU’s \& air conditioning systems

  • Effectively diagnose \& identify faults with equipment and where possible provide a first\-time fix response

  • Replace faulty parts (such as compressors and fan motors)

  • Complete work report sheets after each visited job to report diagnosed faults, parts required etc (via provided iPad)

  • Identifying issues and recommend effective solutions

  • Understanding of calibration controls
Skills \- The ideal HVAC Engineer will have experience within the HVAC industry as well as the following:
  • Experience with equipment repair \& troubleshooting HVAC issues efficiently

  • FGAS certificate

  • Relevant City and Guilds qualifications

  • Full driving license

  • A positive and ‘can do’ attitude

  • The ability to liaise with other engineers but also be confident working independently

  • Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and staff
The desired candidate would provide experience with diagnostic \& repairs and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Training will be given on the specialist swimming pool ventilation equipment.
Experience with commissioning is also desirable.

The job is ideal for someone located in or close to Nottingham.

Salary \& Benefits:
(Salary will be dependent upon experience and candidate is likely to receive fair increases on performance as well as yearly bonus).
