HVAC Engineer
Job Overview
We are a Mechanical \& Electrical contractor specializing in Air Conditioning \& Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV), Process Utilities, Cleanroom Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities, Industrial Plants, Commercial Buildings, and Data Centre projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various stages of project development, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that all technical specifications and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects within a collaborative environment, utilising advanced engineering tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical and M\&E installation works.
- Manage day\-to\-day site activities to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, work progress reports, and material procurement status.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover activities.
- Identify and resolve technical and site\-related issues.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and construction documentation.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, LTHW and Ambient system, Ventilation in Arena or Commercial Buildings.
- Good understanding of mechanical building services systems (HVAC / ACMV Systems, Chilled Water Systems, Ventilation Systems, etc)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in related to commercial building such as Arena.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital construction platforms.
- CSCS Card holder.
