HV Substation Project Manager

• Project lifecycle management: Manage all phases of the project from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close\-out.


• Team leadership: Lead and manage a multi\-disciplinary project team of engineers and other staff.


• Stakeholder management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing relationships.


• Financial and schedule oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and schedules, ensuring projects remain on track.


• Risk and quality management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and contractual standards.


• Technical and commercial coordination: Coordinate with engineering team to develop cost\-effective solutions, and manage commercial and contractual matters with external service providers.


• Business development support: Provide technical expertise for proposals and tenders to help win new contracts.


• Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports on project progress, status, and risks.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager specifically with HV substations or electrical infrastructure projects (typically 33kV and above).


• Strong technical knowledge of substation design, construction, and commissioning.


• Demonstrable track record of delivering complex, multi\-stakeholder projects successfully.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


• Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.


• Experience with budget and schedule management.


• SPEN Authorisations preferable

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£90,000\.00 per year
