About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Southern Region HR Team as an HR Business Partner Support, working as part of the Sussex HR Team and supporting colleagues across the Sussex Route.
Based at London Blackfriars, this is a fantastic development opportunity for someone looking to build their HR career. You'll work closely with experienced HR Business Partners, gaining exposure to a wide range of HR activity while playing a key role in delivering impactful people initiatives.
In this varied and fast\-paced position, you'll provide proactive, professional HR support to enable the successful delivery of people plans and value\-add HR initiatives across the business.
You'll be involved in a broad mix of activity, from supporting organisational change programmes to contributing to talent, workforce and succession planning\- making a real difference to both the HR team and the dedicated client Area.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting HR Business Partners in delivering people and HR plans across the business
- Assisting with talent management, workforce planning and succession planning activity
- Providing support throughout organisational change programmes, from development through to implementation
- Managing and coordinating HR projects, including tracking progress and reporting outcomes
- Producing insights through research, analysis and reporting to support HR initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve HR processes and support
- Supporting a range of HR programmes and initiatives, taking ownership of assigned tasks
- Providing ad hoc administrative and operational HR support as required

About you
You'll be a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast\-paced environment and is motivated to develop within HR.
You'll also bring:
- Strong customer service and relationship\-building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Resilience, adaptability and a flexible approach
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation
- Confidence using IT packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting HR initiatives, projects or events
- Strong analytical and research skills
- CIPD qualification or relevant HR experience
