HR Specialist (Lisbon Onsite - Maternity Leave Cover)

The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating core HR activities, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and internal policies, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR\-related matters.

The successful candidate will work independently on operational HR matters while escalating strategic or business\-critical decisions when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Lifecycle: Onboarding/offboarding, contracts, records, compliance


• Employee Relations: First HR contact, handle queries, support ER cases


• Payroll \& Benefits: Prepare payroll inputs, manage benefits, liaise with providers


• Recruitment: Coordinate interviews, support hiring managers, candidate communication


• HR Compliance: Ensure legal compliance, support audits, maintain documentation


• HR Reporting: Track and report HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism)


• Team Support: Guide HR Officer, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 2\-5 years of experience in Human Resources.


• Experience in employee relations and HR administration.


• Experience supporting payroll processes.


• Experience in a BPO, shared services, or fast\-paced environment is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of Portuguese Labor Law.


• Knowledge of HR best practices.


• Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.


• English and Portuguese C1 level

• 1500€ Base Salary \+ Meal Allowance \+ Transportation Allowance


• Onsite Work Model


• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
