HR Generalist

Are you an experienced, organised and people\-focused HR professional looking for a varied role within a supportive and collaborative HR team? Delta Services is looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR team and provide professional HR and operational support across the organisation. This is a varied and hands\-on role, working closely with the HR Manager, HR Team, managers and employees across Delta Services. The successful candidate will bring solid HR experience and will play an important role across recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, HR systems, compliance and HR projects.
A key part of the role will be supporting the implementation and rollout of our upgraded TMS system, becoming a key internal TMS Superuser and helping to improve the efficiency and consistency of our system
You will also play an important role in supporting our international recruitment programme, working closely with our recruitment partners, managers and internal departments to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new employees.
About the Role
TMS Implementation (4 Months)
You will play an important role in the implementation and rollout of our upgraded TMS across Delta Services.
Complete training and develop a strong understanding of the upgraded TMS.
Become a key internal TMS Superuser.
Work with the TMS provider and internal users to maximise the system's functionality.
Support the development of consistent TMS processes across departments.
Monitor system usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with managers and TMS Superusers to ensure the system is being used effectively.
Identify gaps, duplication and opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency.
International Recruitment
Coordinate onboarding administration with our appointed international recruitment agency and internal teams.
Liaise with managers regarding recruitment progress and employee start dates.
Coordinate required pre\-employment documentation and ensure information is accurately recorded.
Work with relevant departments to ensure new employees have the information and arrangements required before starting.
Support the onboarding of internationally recruited employees and help ensure a positive employee experience.
Recruitment \& Selection
Support the preparation and administration of recruitment campaigns and vacancy information.
Assist with candidate shortlisting and interview arrangements.
Coordinate interview schedules and record interview outcomes and feedback.
Participate in interviews where required.
Support a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
HR Compliance, Governance \& Systems
Provide professional HR support to managers and employees, ensuring HR practices are consistent, compliant and aligned with organisational policies and employment legislation.
Maintain and monitor HR compliance requirements, registers and workforce information, ensuring key obligations and deadlines are effectively managed.
Support the organisation's HR governance framework, including audits, compliance reviews, inspections and reporting requirements.
Ensure employee records, HR systems and workforce data are accurate, current and maintained in line with GDPR and organisational requirements.
Employee Relations
Provide day\-to\-day HR advice and support to managers and employees, assisting with employee relations matters in line with Delta Services' policies and procedures and promoting a consistent and fair approach
Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, performance and attendance processes
Assist with investigations and complex or sensitive employee relations matters, including gathering information, reviewing documentation and preparing reports where required.
Support informal resolution and mediation processes where appropriate, while maintaining accurate and confidential records, identifying potential employee relations risks and escalating matters appropriately.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is organised, approachable, confident and professional, with the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
You will have:
A minimum Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years' relevant HR experience, ideally in a generalist HR environment.
Good knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation in Ireland.
Experience supporting a broad range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills and confidence working with HR systems, spreadsheets and databases.
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a busy environment.
