HR Coordinator

Location: Hybrid – 1 to 2 days office/ 3 days from home (12 miles of Leamington office)

Work pattern: Full time, 37\.5 hours per week, 9am – 5\.30pm Monday to Friday.

Salary: £28,500 \- £33,000 per annum (FTE) DOE

Are you looking to take the next step in your HR career? We are looking for a proactive and driven HR Coordinator who can hit the ground running and become an integral part of our HR team.

In this role, you will take ownership of HR administration across the employee lifecycle, provide first\-line support to employees and managers, and help modernise and improve our HR processes. You'll thrive in a fast\-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy finding more efficient ways of working.

The Group offers a wide range of property expertise including matters relating to; residential sales, land \& new homes, auctions, planning \& architecture, rural, commercial property, probate property, conveyancing and mortgage advice. Our affiliated companies \- SBK Lettings and Levels \- provide lettings and block management services respectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1\. Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Manage end\-to\-end onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and contract variations

  • Conduct Right to Work checks and maintain compliance documentation

  • Track probation periods, absence, training records and other people data
2\. HR Systems \& Data Management

*(Working with manual processes and basic HR tools)*

  • Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date employee records

  • Manage HR trackers, spreadsheets, and document templates

  • Fully support with the HR inbox and resolve first\-line queries independently

  • Ensure data accuracy on Breathe for payroll and absent management
3\. Recruitment Support
  • Coordinate job postings loading internally and to the website and co\-ordinating with the marketing team.

  • Manage pre\-employment checks

  • Supporting and co\-ordinating with onboarding and recruitment processes and documentation
· Arrange and coordinate interviews, working closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment process.

4\. Policy, Compliance \& Process Improvement

  • Ensure HR processes are followed consistently across the business

  • Keep personnel files and records audit\-ready

  • Review and refine manual processes to increase efficiency

  • Maintain and update HR templates, forms, and SOPs
5\. Employee Relations \& Advisory Support (Developing Area)

As capability grows, support with:

  • Providing first\-line HR advice (absence, conduct, probation queries)

  • Supporting managers with policy interpretation
6\. HR Reporting \& Projects
  • Produce monthly HR reports (headcount, turnover, absence, lifecycle metrics)

  • Support HR initiatives such as onboarding improvements, employee engagement,

  • Assist the HR Generalist on strategic and project work and continuous improvement activities.

  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests, providing accurate HR data and management information within agreed timescales.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve reporting capabilities, and increase efficiency across the HR function
Skills, Experience \& Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role

  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals (ER basics, confidentiality, GDPR)

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive and organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Tech\-Savvy: Strong IT skills with experience using HR systems such as Breathe HR

  • Confident communicator, able to provide a professional HR service

  • Ability to take initiative and provide solutions in a fast\-paced environment

  • Strong excel and data analysis skills, including the ability to manipulate data, produce reports, identify trends and present info in a clear and meaningful way
Desirable
  • UK Driving Licence

  • Experience improving processes and creating structure where systems are limited

  • Knowledge of UK employment law basics

  • Experience supporting and providing first basic\-line HR advice

  • Strong Excel and document management skills
