About Us

The HR patch Ltd is an independent HR consultancy founded in 2016 supporting businesses across various sectors with bespoke, hands\-on HR solutions. Our focus is on providing expert advice, building strong client relationships, and delivering ethical outcomes that make a real difference in the workplace.

Currently our customers include a broad range of industries all over the UK, but we are now growing our client base more locally in the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire areas.

What We're Looking For

  • We are seeking a confident HR Professional with a strong background in Employee Relations to join our growing team in Frimley. This is a hybrid role, working closely with clients to provide high\-quality, practical HR support on complex ER issues.

  • We are looking for someone to be available 5 days a week, with 3 days based at our office and 2 days working remotely. We are flexible when it comes to a working pattern around our core working hours.

  • The HR patch can offer flexibility in the role and opportunities to enhance your HR career with the diverse range of projects that we undertake, whilst fully supported by the Director.

  • The successful candidate will join a well established team and we partner with a lot of other businesses to enhance our offering for clients and provide a great a service.

  • Whilst experience of working in an HR consultancy is highly desirable, if you are an experienced HR professional with strong ER skills, looking for a change from the corporate world, we would love to hear from you.
What You'd Be Doing…
  • Meeting clients, building relationships and taking a proactive approach to building good HR practices, guiding managers on best practice and being the people expert in every business.

  • Day to day, you might be dealing with performance, conduct, sickness and grievance issues. Depending on the size of the business there might also be a need to get involved in onboarding and offboarding activities. However larger projects are frequent as we manage restructures, mergers, scaleups and development or recruitment projects.

  • Our work can often be fast\-paced, diverse and we often find ourselves carefully unpicking employment problems that need expert attention and experience to resolve, whilst also jumping to and from differing needs of our clients.

  • We are responsible for ensuring our clients understand the ever\-evolving employment law, advising them on the risks they might be facing and guiding them through cases to minimise the risk of costly legal disputes.

  • There may be opportunities to travel to client sites around the UK, but travel is not a requirement of the role.
Essential Skills
  • Proven HR experience with a strong focus on Employee Relations

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
