HR BUSINESS PARTNER PART-TIME
HR Business Partner \| Part\-Time (20 hrs/week) \| Hybrid – Nottingham
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a growing 300\-employee business at an exciting stage of its people journey.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an HR professional who wants the strategic scope of a Business Partner role without full\-time hours — perfect for someone balancing other commitments or building a portfolio career.
The Role
Reporting into our Fractional HR Director, you'll be instrumental in building out the business partnering function from the ground up. You'll act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, forging strong stakeholder relationships across the business while bringing structure, credibility, and pace to the people agenda.
This role is hybrid, with 1 day per week required in our Nottingham office — the rest worked flexibly/remotely.
What you'll be doing:
Building genuine, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Using data and insight to drive decision\-making on people priorities
Owning and managing Employee Relations cases with confidence and care
Partnering with leaders to translate business needs into people solutions
Helping shape and embed the HRBP function as the business scales
Driving forward key people initiatives alongside the Fractional HRD
What we're looking for:
Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Advisor
Strong, hands\-on Employee Relations knowledge — confident managing complex cases
Comfortable using data to inform and influence decisions
A relationship\-builder who can earn trust quickly and operate with credibility
Self\-starter mentality — happy building something rather than just maintaining it
CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
Able to commute to Nottingham 1 day per week
Pay: £45,000\.00\-£55,000\.00 per year
