Essential Responsibilities:\-
---------------------------------

  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees with specific focus on: employee and union relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations

  • Provide people leaders with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns as required with HR specialists in the Centres of Excellence; navigates employees and manager to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence professionals to execute business\-specific HR strategies.

  • Provide advice and counsel to leaders to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices to promote an ethical and compliant work environment

  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved

  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to other HR team members to support their growth and development

  • Drive continuous improvement by engaging with lean methodologies, FLIGHT DECK at GE Aerospace, to enhance HR processes and practices

  • Lead site\-wide HR projects, collaborating across multiple client groups to deliver impactful results

  • Develop positive relationships with Trade Union leadership and work collaboratively to solve problems and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited university or equivalent proven experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources
