We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a leading care home provider, supporting a portfolio of services across Yorkshire and the North of England. This is a highly visible and influential role, partnering with operational leaders to drive people strategy, improve performance, and support organisational growth.
Based in Leeds, the role will involve regular regional travel to services within your portfolio.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to Regional Directors, Home Managers, and senior stakeholders, providing commercially focused HR support across a diverse care home portfolio.
You will work closely with operational teams to develop high\-performing cultures, improve employee engagement, support talent development, and ensure best practice people management across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with operational leaders to deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
- Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning projects.
- Driving employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Coaching and developing managers to improve leadership capability and people management skills.
- Supporting recruitment, succession planning, and talent development across the region.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practice.
- Analysing workforce data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast\-paced, operational environment and enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or HR Manager.
- Experience supporting multi\-site operations within care, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or another service\-led sector.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex casework.
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions\-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred).
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
- Salary of £50,000 \- £60,000 depending on experience.
