Contract: Fixed\-term, 6 month (potential to go permanent)
Hours: 24 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday (4 hours), Friday (5 hours)
We are looking for an HR Advisor to support our manufacturing and logistics teams with day\-to\-day HR activities and employee relations matters.
Working as part of the site HR team, you will provide advice and guidance to managers, manage employee relations cases and support the delivery of people processes across the site. You will work closely with operational teams and trade union representatives to support effective people management and maintain positive industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end\-to\-end management of employee relations cases
Advise and coach managers on people policies and procedures
Support managers with employee performance, attendance and conduct matters
Work with trade union representatives to maintain effective industrial relations
Support recruitment and onboarding activities
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and site activities
Support the delivery of HR projects and people plans
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
Assisting with payroll
What We're Looking For
Previous employee relations case management experience
Experience working in a unionised environment (preferred)
CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience within manufacturing or logistics would be beneficial but is not essential
