<p><strong>HR Advisor, </strong><strong>Remote UK, 12 months FTC (Maternity Cover)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Role Purpose:</strong></p>
<p>To provide sound HR advice to line managers on all employee relations matters and ensure the development and implementation of effective HR policies and processes. <span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><strong>Role Accountabilities:</strong></p>
<p>Support company managers in the management of all employee relation matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and absence management. <span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Provide timely advice and support to people managers in line with current policies and procedures.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Refer employees to Occupational Health where required, and support managers with implementing reasonable adjustments. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Support the HR Managers on complex people matters including allegations of gross misconduct. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure that all employee relation matters are recorded on the ER tracker and all relating documentation is saved against the employee record.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Identify and manage any trends in employee relation data or cases and work with HR Manager to review and reduce concerns.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure the bank of template letters and guidelines are kept up to date in line with legislation and business requirements.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure the company policies are up to date and support in updating them as required. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p>Quality check the approach people managers take to ensure these are in line with current policies and procedures.<span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p>Keep up to date with employment law/legislation changes and demonstrate continuous professional development.<span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Support in any other general project work as required.</span></p>
<p>Skills, Knowledge, Experience:</p>
<p><strong>Essential</strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Previous experience working in a similar role. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Experience in managing the full range of employee relations cases including: disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management, flexible working requests. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to influence and challenge where appropriate. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Confident to make decisions independently, providing solutions and anticipating/overcoming challenge.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to build relationships with a variety of people and an ability to work in a changing &amp; diverse business environment. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
