About the Company

Liquidchip Limited is a UK\-based company seeking a knowledgeable, organised and proactive HR Advisor to support its people management, HR administration and employment compliance activities.

We are looking for an individual who can provide practical HR advice, maintain accurate employee records and support the development of effective HR processes and policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day\-to\-day HR advice and guidance to management and employees on employment\-related matters.

  • Support recruitment activities, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening applications and coordinating interviews.

  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, probation reviews and offboarding procedures.

  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR letters, policies and employee documentation.

  • Advise on employee relations matters, including attendance, grievances, disciplinary procedures and performance management.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including annual leave, sickness absence, training and contractual changes.

  • Support payroll administration by coordinating employee information, salary changes and absence records with the payroll team.

  • Monitor changes in UK employment legislation and help ensure company policies and practices remain compliant.

  • Assist with right\-to\-work checks, immigration\-related employment documentation and sponsor compliance administration where applicable.

  • Maintain confidential HR information in accordance with UK GDPR and company policies.

  • Prepare HR reports and support management with workforce planning, employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.

  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.

  • Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.

  • Experience using HR information systems and maintaining employee records.
Qualifications Required
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant HR qualification (Desirable).

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline is desirable.

  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR administration, HR advisory or generalist HR functions.

  • Practical experience supporting employee relations, recruitment and HR policy implementation.

  • Experience maintaining employee records, managing absence and supporting performance procedures.

  • Previous experience working within a UK business environment is preferred.

  • Experience supporting right\-to\-work checks or immigration sponsorship administration would be advantageous.
Salary and Benefits

Annual Salary: £30,000–£38,000, depending on qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
