We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join our team in a varied and rewarding role supporting both office and factory colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity to build your experience in a busy business, develop your skills with hands\-on support and training, and make a valued contribution to the employee experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Support new starter inductions, including preparing documentation and helping to coordinate initial training.
- Maintain accurate employee records on the HR system for starters, leavers and employee changes.
- Assist with weekly payroll administration, including overtime schedules, timesheets and payroll queries.
- Keep the training matrix up to date, coordinate training activity and help ensure certifications remain current.
- Provide day\-to\-day administrative support to the HR function and act as a first point of contact for general queries.
- Take accurate notes and minutes in HR meetings where required.
- Help ensure HR information is shared effectively between the office and shop floor.
- Carry out a range of administrative duties to support the wider team and contribute to a smooth\-running HR service.
- Previous experience in an office\-based administrative or customer support role would be beneficial.
- A confident and professional approach when working across both office and manufacturing environments.
- Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to work collaboratively with others, while also using initiative when needed.
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, develop and adapt in a busy environment.
- Salary \- £26,000 – 28,000 DOE
