We're hiring Part Time Housekeeping Room Attendants on a 9am–2pm shift for The Stratford, an Autograph Collection by Marriott design hotel in Stratford, East London (E20\) — two minutes from Stratford International and Westfield. £13\.00 per hour plus service charge, with free meals on shift, up to 50% off food \& drink, and discounted Marriott hotel rooms worldwide.
As a Room Attendant you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, making sure every bedroom is spotless, welcoming and ready to the highest standard. The Stratford does things a little differently: we value authenticity, teamwork and people who take genuine pride in their work.
The hours
- 9:00am–2:00pm, minimum 4 days per week (around 20 hours)
- Fixed, predictable shifts — you'll know your days well in advance
- Some flexibility on start and finish times if you can do a little more or need a slightly later start
- Happy to talk through which days suit you best when we meet
- Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to Marriott brand standard — both checkout and stayover rooms
- Make beds and change bed linen and towels, presenting rooms beautifully
- Vacuum, dust, mop and polish surfaces, fixtures and floors
- Replenish guest amenities, tea/coffee supplies and minibar items
- Keep your housekeeping trolley stocked, clean and well\-organised
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or lost property to the team
- Deliver friendly, discreet service and respond to guest requests
- Support the wider housekeeping team and help keep floors and corridors presentable when needed
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures (COSHH)
- A hard\-working, reliable person who takes pride in a job done well — no experience needed, as full training is given (previous cleaning, housekeeping or hotel experience is a bonus)
- Happy being physically active and on your feet throughout your shift
- Friendly and approachable, with a keen eye for detail
- Able to communicate comfortably in English with guests and the team
- Flexible and dependable, able to work a rota that includes weekends
