The Role
As Housekeeping Manager, you play a vital role in shaping every guest experience. You’ll lead the housekeeping department, setting standards of cleanliness, presentation and comfort while building a motivated, proud team.
You’ll combine hands\-on leadership with operational oversight, ensuring our rooms and public areas reflect the warmth, care and personality that define the Carlton George Hotel.
This role isn’t just about immaculate spaces — it’s about creating a welcoming environment that feels like a place in the heart of the city and a place in the heart of every guest.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, train and inspire the housekeeping team, creating a positive and supportive working culture
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across bedrooms and public areas
- Set daily priorities, manage rotas and allocate workloads efficiently
- Carry out room inspections to ensure brand standards are consistently met
- Work closely with reception and maintenance to ensure smooth operations
- Manage stock, linen and cleaning supplies within agreed budgets
- Ensure health \& safety and COSHH procedures are followed at all times
- Handle guest requests or concerns professionally and proactively
- Lead by example, taking pride in every detail of the hotel environment
- Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience (hotel environment preferred)
- A hands\-on leader who enjoys supporting and developing their team
- High standards with strong attention to detail
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure

Pay: £29,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
