About Us:

Nestled in the heart of Peebles in the Scottish Borders, our boutique hotel is a locally loved, hotel known for its warm hospitality, relaxed elegance, and genuine connection to the community. We’re looking for a Hotel Duty Manager who can help us deliver exceptional service, lead with confidence, and keep the rhythm of daily operations flowing smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing day\-to\-day hotel operations across reception, housekeeping, and food \& beverage


• Supporting and motivating staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences


• Handling guest queries and resolving issues with warmth and professionalism


• Ensuring health \& safety and operational standards are consistently met


• Acting as the senior point of contact during your shift

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations (supervisory level preferred)


• A natural leader with great communication and problem\-solving skills


• Someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and stays calm under pressure


• A hands\-on attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed


• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £29,000 per annum plus share of service charge and tips
