We are seeking a welcoming Host/ess to join the Dante team at Claridge’s on a casual basis

Dante Mayfair

From the heartbeat of the Greenwich Village to the heart of Mayfair, Dante has crossed the Atlantic to bring its iconic cocktail culture to the timeless elegance of Claridge’s. As a part of the finely tuned and knowledgeable team, you will be serving our guests delicious modern Italian cuisine and world\-class cocktails, creating an unforgettable dining experience. No matter the time of day they join us, you will be there to provide our guests with a seamless service that lingers long after the last sip of their Negronis.

As a Host / Hostess you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming guests to the restaurant, and escorting the guests to their table with seamless efficiency, and that leaves a positive lasting impression.


• Creating genuine emotional bonds with guests, in order to build loyalty and create exceptional service experiences.


• Answering telephone calls, making reservations and managing bookings.


• Liaising with our Reservations and Front Office teams for bookings.


• Coordinating with the Dining Room Manager and Executive Chef for special requests, menus and assisting other colleagues throughout service.

Successful candidates for our Host / Hostess opportunity will:

• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.


• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories


• Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.


• You will have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.


• Demonstrate the ability to work in fast paced environment


• Immaculate personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality
