Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing care facility. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the home, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative tasks. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills and a compassionate approach to providing quality care.

Duties:

\- Manage the overall operation of the nursing home

\- Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures

\- Develop and implement care plans for residents, including medication administration and monitoring

\- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive appropriate medical care

\- Oversee the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for residents

\- Handle resident admissions, discharges, and transfers

\- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care

\- Provide support and guidance to residents and their families

\- Implement programs and activities to enhance the well being of residents, including dementia care initiatives

Applicants for this Home Manager position should meet the following criteria:

• NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA or Mental Health Nurse/RMN/RMHN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD and ideally have completed or are currently completing a recognised management qualification such as Diploma Level 5/The Registered Managers Award


• From a strong background in elderly and dementia care, with experience as CQC Registered Manager.


• Able to effectively manage a team to provide the highest or care to our residents, budgets and resources, ensuring a cost effective service that doesn’t compromise on quality


• Able to lead, develop and inspire both clinical and non\-clinical teams

\- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff members

\- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards

\- Experience in medication administration and monitoring

\- Familiarity with developing care plans for residents with various medical needs

\- Excellent organizational and time management skills

\- Compassionate approach to providing care for elderly individuals
