Home Care Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Assistant to support individuals in their daily lives within their private residence. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well\-being for clients. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs


• Help with household tasks including cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Maintain clear communication with care teams and family members regarding client wellbeing


• Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation


• Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour to senior staff


• Use IT systems to update records and document care activities accurately

• Valid driving licence with experience in driving clients safely


• Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable


• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow specified procedures effectively


• Good command of English, both spoken and written, for clear communication


• Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and wellbeing
