HGV Drivers - Tipper, Mixer, Artic & Block

Patersons Quarries are an independent quarrying company based in Coatbridge, we have sites across the central belt of Scotland and supply a wide range of quarry products, ready\-mix concrete, concrete blocks and concrete bricks.

As we continue to expand our teams we are recruiting for driver to come join us at an exciting time for the business!

We are currently recruiting drivers with positions based at both our sites in Rigside and Coatbridge as we expand our team including:

• Concrete Mixer Drivers \- 1 year experience of driving a Mixer Truck required


• Tipper Drivers \- 1 Year Experience of Driving a Tipper Required


• Artic Drivers \- 1 Year Experience of Driving a Tipper Required


• Block Drivers \- HIAB Certification Required

Reporting to the Transport Manager you will be driving vehicles to various sites across the central belt to deliver loads in a timely and efficient manner. You will have a safe and efficient approach to driving, with the ability to ensure that your vehicle is kept in good condition. You will also be required to complete daily safety checks and report any vehicle defects to the Transport Department.

Experience:

• You must have a valid category C driver’s licence or C\+E licence.


• You should have no more than 6 points on your licence


• Understanding of safe working practices


• Willing to adhere to health \& safety regulations.

We require candidate to be able to work flexibly, as although the role is Monday to Friday, regular overtime work is a requirement due to the nature of the business. Weekend work is also available during busier periods!

Overnight Tramping roles are also available for Class 1 Artic Drivers

Rate of pay is dependant on which type of driving role is undertaken.

Pay: £14\.60\-£15\.75 per hour
