Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain heating systems including boilers, radiators, thermostats, and associated controls.


• Perform plumbing tasks such as fitting pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems with precision.


• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble, disassemble, or modify mechanical components.


• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure systems operate efficiently.


• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using diagnostic techniques and mechanical knowledge.


• Carry out heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for client reports.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Heating and Plumbing Engineer or similar role in residential or commercial environments.


• Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing or heating system repairs.


• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, carpentry skills, and assembly processes.


• Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems, plumbing infrastructure, and related equipment.


• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and system specifications.


• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between job sites.


• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and work in confined or elevated spaces safely.
