Healthcare Assistant - Surgical
Ward 37 is a busy and dynamic General Surgical ward providing high\-quality care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.
We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, patient\-centred care within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team and we are looking for a motivated and caring Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and high\-quality care to our patients. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will provide enhanced clinical support and contribute to the smooth running of the ward.
Provide direct patient care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Support with activities of daily living (e.g. personal care, mobility, nutrition)
Undertake clinical observations (e.g. vital signs, blood glucose monitoring) and report any concerns
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes
Support infection prevention and control measures
Maintain accurate patient records
