Healthcare Assistant

Park Surgery is a friendly and patient\-focused GP practice seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of high\-quality patient care by undertaking a range of clinical duties, including:

• Phlebotomy (blood taking)


• NHS health checks


• Blood pressure monitoring


• Height, weight and BMI measurements


• ECGs


• New patient health assessments


• Basic wound care and dressings


• Stock monitoring and clinical room preparation

Applicants should have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional manner, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in primary care is desirable, although candidates with relevant healthcare experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Essential Requirements:

• UK Phlebotomy Qualification


• Experience working in a healthcare setting


• Good organisational and interpersonal skills


• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality


• Competent IT skills

Desirable:

• Experience working within General Practice


• Relevant healthcare qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
