Health Care Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life


• Monitor and report on health conditions, changes in behaviour, or concerns to senior staff


• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation protocols


• Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals


• Assist with light domestic tasks including tidying personal spaces and laundry


• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures

• Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable


• Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations


• Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions


• Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well\-being


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: £12\.80\-£13\.00 per hour
