Overview
We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high\-quality care and support to clients in their own homes. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for individuals requiring assistance with daily living tasks. This role requires a caring attitude, flexibility, and the ability to travel between clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting support
- Assist with medication prompts and administration (where trained and authorised)
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition
- Carry out light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry where required
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accurately complete daily care records and report any concerns to senior staff
- Travel between client homes in a timely and professional manner
- Follow care plans and ensure all care is delivered in line with company policies and CQC standards
- Promote independence, respect, privacy, and dignity at all times
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
- Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliability and flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic understanding of health and safety in a care setting (training provided)
- Right to work in the UK
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience in domiciliary care or community support work
