Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management


• Supporting individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised support is delivered effectively


• Promoting independence whilst respecting individual preferences and dignity


• Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems


• Communicating effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery


• Assisting with household tasks within care homes or home care environments


• Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all


• Driving between different locations as required to support home care services or attend appointments

Experience

• Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting needed a minimum of 6 months


• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes


• Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with colleagues and service users


• Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism


• Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations
