Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our care team. In this role, you will support residents with their daily living needs, promote dignity and independence, and help create a safe, caring, and homely environment. You will work as part of a friendly, supportive team delivering high–quality person\-centred care in line with CQC standards.
Key responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and hydration; supporting emotional and social wellbeing; accurately recording care delivery; and communicating effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals. You will play an important role in ensuring residents feel respected, valued, and well\-cared for at all times.
The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, and committed to making a positive difference. Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training and ongoing development will be provided. This role requires good communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior staff
- Proficient in developing and implementing care plans
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families
- Experience in senior care and working within a care home environment
- Valid driving license is preferred
- Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
