Job Overview
Holywell Nursing Home is located in the beautiful village of Brent knoll, Somerset. We can accommodate up to 28 residents (Over 65\) who have various needs from Dementia to Nursing. Holywell is a small home, with a very homely atmosphere. We have an incredible small team, who all work well together and are lead on a daily basis by our fantastic nurses. Our residents are all amazing and have great personalities of their own.
We are now looking for enthusiastic people to join our healthcare assistant team to work days on a rota basis, working 36 hours per week, which includes working every other weekend. Shifts are days 7am till 7pm (12hrs), with the opportunity to pick up overtime, as and when required.
Job competencies required,
Must have care certificate, or relevant experience of working in a busy care/nursing home.
Must know and understand manual handling procedures.
Be strength based in your practice, person centered and be able to think outside the box.
Be able to think on your feet and make decisions under the guidance of our senior leadership team.
Be a great team player
Have a great personality and want to be part of an awesome team, who look after our wonderful residents.
