Locum Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Primary Care
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our primary care team in Birmingham on a locum basis.
Essential experience and skills:
Primary care / GP practice experience
Phlebotomy (blood taking)
ECG recording
NHS Health Checks
Diabetes reviews and monitoring
Asthma reviews and inhaler technique support
Blood pressure monitoring
Height, weight and BMI assessments
New patient health checks
Basic clinical observations and patient assessments
Accurate clinical record keeping
Requirements
Previous experience working as an HCA within a GP practice or primary care setting
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexible and reliable approach to work
