Health Care Assistant (Evenings)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are a family run business, based in Martock, seeking enthusiastic, compassionate individuals to join our domiciliary care team to help support clients to remain independent in their own homes. Our Health Care Assistants have a varied role that ranges from providing companionship and accompanying clients on trips out, through to helping with personal care, medication management, meal prep, shopping and housekeeping. This position is for evening shifts, typically between 18:00 and 21:00, with flexibility in the number of working days per week.
ABOUT YOU:
To join us as a Health Care Assistant you will show patience and understanding, be compassionate, have a positive can\-do attitude and a drive to deliver the highest standards of care. Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given. You will need to prove your right to work in the UK, have a full driving licence and access to your own car.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in healthcare or a related field is advantageous
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively
- Competitive rates of pay
- Additional £1 per hour overtime and Bank Holiday enhancement
- Paid mileage of £0\.45 per mile between calls
