Health Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high\-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Administer medication as per prescribed instructions (training provided)


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems


• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families


• Support with light domestic tasks within care environments or clients’ homes


• Drive between different care settings or client locations as required (driving licence preferred)

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided


• Good command of English language skills, both written and verbal


• Proficiency in IT for documentation and communication purposes


• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues


• Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between locations


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others


• Ability to follow care plans accurately and adhere to health and safety guidelines

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
