Overview

At Gallagher, we are champions of innovation, service, and excellence. As the Head of Wealth Management \& Employee Benefits, you will lead Gallagher Ireland’s financial services proposition, encompassing individual wealth services and employee benefits.

This role is pivotal in shaping a unified, client\-focused practice that delivers exceptional outcomes while driving growth and profitability. Based in Dublin, with travel to regional branches, you will be part of a collaborative leadership team, contributing to the broader strategic direction of Gallagher Ireland.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll lead the financial services team, driving strategy, profitability, and exceptional client outcomes. You’ll:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial services strategy, ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s growth ambitions.

  • Oversee profit and loss accountability, including revenue, margin, and cost management.

  • Build and lead a high\-performing team of financial consultants, planners, and employee benefits specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations, maintaining the highest standards of advice quality and client outcomes.

  • Strengthen relationships with providers, insurers, and platforms, negotiating terms and enhancing service offerings.

  • Champion the client experience, ensuring consistent service standards across all locations.

  • Drive operational efficiency by standardising processes and adopting innovative systems and automation solutions.
About you

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • QFA qualification (minimum); RPA, CFP, or Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning preferred.

  • Compliance with Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity standards.

  • Continuing professional development in line with the Minimum Competency Code.

  • Extensive experience in life, pensions, investments, or employee benefits advice within a brokerage, consultancy, or wealth management environment.

  • Proven leadership in managing and developing regulated advisory teams, including recruitment and performance management.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with profit and loss accountability.

  • Familiarity with the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory framework and corporate employee benefits.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands\-on approach to client cases and processes.

  • Strong relationship\-building skills with clients, providers, and regulators.

  • Sound judgement on risk and compliance, with a focus on client outcomes.

  • Clear and credible communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborative leadership style, working across teams and functions.
