Join us as Head of Operations

At Tomorrows Guides we’re building the UK’s go\-to platform for finding care for a loved one. We help millions of families find the care they need, whether that be a Care Home or Home Care solution for an older relative or a Day Nursery for a child. Backed by leading investors General Atlantic, Silverlake and Insight Partners, we are on a mission to transform how families find care in the UK.

We’re growing fast, with big plans to become the go\-to brand for care. If you care about great work, take pride in the details, and want to make an impact, you’ll fit right in.

About The Role

As our Head of Operations, you’ll lead the operational engine behind how reviews are handled, moderated and published and how we source, generate and verify content for our profiles across our platforms – carehome.co.uk, homecare.co.uk and daynurseries.co.uk.

This is not a traditional “customer service” role.
This is a systems, governance and operational leadership role.

Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

· Leading the operational engine behind our Reviews, Compliance and Customer Services teams.

· Bringing clarity and consistency to how we interpret and apply our policies and processes.

· Redesigning processes so reviews are handled faster at a higher standard.

· Working closely with BI to improve how reviews are triaged, moderated and published at scale.

· Creating a calm, well\-structured environment where teams know exactly how decisions are made.

· Improving how we communicate with customers and care providers when issues arise.

· Developing the capability of our operational leaders and strengthening morale across the team.

You’ll do well if you bring:

· A track record of building clear operational systems in complex, policy\-driven environments.

· Excellent analytical capabilities, and an understanding of new technologies, such as LLM's, and how they can be implemented

· Strong operational leadership skills and experience managing teams through change.

· The ability to simplify complex processes and remove ambiguity.

· Calm judgement and confidence handling sensitive or reputationally important decisions.

· A collaborative, roll\-your\-sleeves\-up attitude.

· Curiosity to continuously improve how things work.

· 8\+ years of experience in operations, trust \& safety, compliance, or customer operations within a digital platform or marketplace.

If this sounds like the place where you can do your best work, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box.

We believe great work deserves great rewards. Here’s just a taste:

· Competitive salary \+ annual bonus.

· Meritocracy – we’re a small team with ambitious plans, we’re growing fast and so are our employees.

· Flexible working. Up to 2 days a week working from home. 3 days a week from our offices in Hungerford.

· 25 days holiday a year, in addition to public holidays.
