Innovate Healthcare is seeking an outstanding Head of Finance to lead our finance function, strengthen governance, and deliver the insight that supports confident decision\-making. This is a pivotal leadership role, partnering with the CEO and Leadership Team to improve performance, manage risk, and build scalable processes that support our continued growth.

As a key member of our team, you will take ownership of financial planning, reporting and control \- ensuring we have the discipline, clarity and commercial insight to deliver high quality services sustainably. You’ll lead month\-end and statutory processes, strengthen internal controls, and partner with stakeholders across the business to improve performance.
What you’ll lead:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long\-term planning to support strategic decision making.
- Own month end close, reconciliations and delivery of high quality management reporting.
- Provide clear analysis (KPIs, variance, dashboards) and recommendations to improve performance.
- Own cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and oversee billing, credit control and collections.
- Lead year\-end processes, external audit coordination, and ensure tax and statutory compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement and automation across end\-to\-end finance.
- Build and develop a high performing finance team and improve financial understanding across the business.
- Manage key relationships with auditors, banks, advisers and suppliers.
- A recognised finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong technical grounding in management accounting, statutory reporting and compliance.
- Significant finance experience, including leading and developing a team.
- Proven ability to build budgets and forecasts, manage month\-end, and deliver insightful variance analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, with confidence owning audit and year\-end processes.
- Clear, credible communication \- able to translate financial data into actions for non\-finance stakeholders.
- Strong cash flow, working capital and risk management capability.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience improving systems, controls and automation.
- High integrity and discretion, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders.
You are a hands\-on, commercially minded finance leader who brings rigour, clarity and calm to fast moving environments. You build trusted relationships, communicate with impact, and enjoy improving how things work \- so the business has the insight and controls it needs to deliver quality services and growth.
