Head of Finance
About Hassetts Bakers \& Confectioners
Hassetts Bakers \& Confectioners Limited is an established and growing Irish food business with a proud tradition of baking and confectionery. The company supplies Ireland's leading grocery multiples and foodservice customers, and operates an active export programme delivering product into the UK and international markets. With a strong and recognisable customer base, a dedicated team, and a clear growth trajectory, Hassetts is a business of real substance and ambition.
Hassetts works in partnership with Enterprise Ireland as part of its growth strategy, reflecting the company’s ambition and export\-oriented development plans.
The Opportunity
Hassetts is seeking an experienced, commercially grounded finance professional to join the senior leadership team as Head of Finance. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is the most senior finance position in the business and carries responsibility for the full spectrum of financial management, reporting, compliance, and commercial insight.
The business operates in a complex commercial environment — managing major retail customer relationships, navigating post\-Brexit export requirements, and executing on an ambitious growth plan supported by Enterprise Ireland. The Head of Finance will be central to translating that ambition into financial discipline and commercial rigour.
This is a genuinely hands\-on role. With a small but capable finance function, the successful candidate will be equally comfortable setting financial strategy as they are rolling up their sleeves to manage the day\-to\-day numbers. It suits a finance professional who takes pride in doing things properly — at every level.
